Angela Kennedy is an Australian entrepreneur, speaker, and recognised authority in the global beauty industry. With more than 17 years of experience building beauty businesses, she is best known as the Founder and CEO of Lash Envy Melbourne, Australia’s longest-standing commercial lash and brow salon brand.
What began as a single treatment bed in the front room of her home has grown into a multi-million-dollar enterprise spanning multiple luxury salons across Melbourne, a professional training academy, and a global lash supplies brand used by lash artists around the world.
Angela is known for her strategic approach to building scalable salon businesses, developing high-performing teams, and creating systems that allow beauty professionals to grow beyond working behind the treatment bed.

From a Single Treatment Bed to a Beauty Empire
Angela’s entrepreneurial journey began long before the beauty industry.
In her early twenties she built one of the largest sales organisations in the Australian cosmetics direct sales industry. Starting with no experience and no network, she grew a team of more than 2,000 consultants and built a $6 million annual sales organisation by the age of 26.
During this time Angela broke national sales records for six consecutive years, won multiple highest-achiever awards, and trained and mentored thousands of consultants across Australia and internationally.
After selling her business and moving overseas, Angela experienced a period of personal challenge that forced her to rebuild from the ground up.
While living in Ireland she discovered eyelash extensions, a beauty service that was still virtually unknown in Australia at the time.
Recognising the potential of this emerging industry, Angela completed professional training and began practising on friends and family before returning to Melbourne.
In 2008 she launched Lash Envy from the front room of her home while preparing for the arrival of her first child.
Demand quickly grew as clients experienced the quality of her work and began referring friends. Within a short time appointments were fully booked weeks in advance, leading to the opening of the first Lash Envy salon.

Over the past 17 years Angela has grown Lash Envy Melbourne into one of the most recognised and respected lash brands in Australia.

Rather than franchising, Angela partners with senior team members to become co-owners of new salon locations, creating genuine opportunities for financial growth and leadership within the company.
